I thought I only went to all-niters there but those years were all a bit blurry... (did love the revolving floor, quite revolutionary in them days...)
I remember one of the last time I went there was a Boxing Night and Edwin Starr was gunna be singing.
Such a lovely man, always made the efoort to talk to people and instead of getting on the stage to sing, he stood in the middle of the dance floor with everyone around him to do his spot...
and my battery was flat when we went outside afterwards...(strange the things you do remember)...
Got to agree with Bint of Soul, at least they're making a living but...
