  1. Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm sorted. Cheers, M
  2. ANTHONY WHITE - NEVER LET YOU GET AWAY FROM ME - PIR 3574 Stocker or promo, and minter if possible plus postage to Spain... Muchas gracias señores, Mac.
  3. It was considered an oldie by 1977/8 though. Brian Rae used to hammer it, along with the Valentines... in a fit of 'label association', probably...
  4. I'll remember not to use the expression again, Dave. I'll just say that the 'floor reaction' was considerable.
  5. Scaling the craggy heights of flippancy once again, dear chap?
  6. I wouldn't set myself up as an arbiter of great taste but Don Gardner at Wigan used to have my fookin' hair standing on end. When Sam played Margaret Little in Barcelona the year before last it sounded fantastic and the floor was heaving. Willie J & Co. was the next record up. The floor continued to heave. Crap records? I think not.... Opinions, opinions... Colours, colours...
  7. We've already answered that one. ;-)
  8. But it doesn't have to be either though, does it?
  9. Macarena is a girl's name, I'll have ye know.
  10. I think that would be slightly uncharitable of you, Benji. What possibly could you gain from it?
  11. Will the Emperor please stand up!!
  12. Well that was precisely my point dear fellow.
  13. Quite.
  14. Don Gardner is as good as anything that's ever been played, covered up or otherwise, from the Wheel to the 100 Club and beyond. What some people perceive as being "naf", "ok" and sublime changes according to one's taste, time, place and other subjective factors. Opinions are like colours, there's lots of them, differents shades, hues etc...
  15. Either way she should step forward and receive some deserved applause and Soul Source love and affection. we've had Lorraine Chandler, Darryl Stewart and Cecil Washington honour us all with their presence, so why not our Margaret?
