12 Inchers
Why were some 12" pressed at 45rpm & some pressed at 33rpm? Was there any logic behind the speed they were pressed at? Is it possible or indeed easy to look at 'unmarked 12' disc & tell just by looking at the grooves what the correct play speed is? Cheers Col.

I don't understand your post. Is it supposed to be sarcastic, if so you've lost me?

Hey that could almost be me - except I'm almost totally bald, dress like a tramp & can't be arsed with records. I've never been to Manchester.

Deep Funk And N/soul What The Funkin' Hell
Absolutely fecking awful, the pits, morally wrong, repugnant, sickening, loathsome. I could go on, but I only get a short break for lunch.

anne & ray
Anne & Ray. Anne was a brilliant dancer, LOADS of energy. I think she got into althetics when she left the scene, think Ray became one of the first house music promoters. Could be wrong though!

Jackie Wilson
Brilliant but overplayed. Delve into the back catalogue & you'll hear some real gems. Just the other day I came across his version of 'Chain Gang'......I was blown away by it.

Frank Wilson - Do I Love You
It doesn't prove anything about Russ's relationship with Soussan. Russ bought the tune from Les McCutcheon a well known surrey record dealer.
