Any body know whats left in there ie. unheard?
How is the stuff stored these days - has all the stuff been archived on computer for future use?
How have the few leaks that occured actually happened?
Assuming that 40 yrs on they still have loads of stuff in the vault, security must have been overall really impressive.

Really? I have that on a week-ender freebie CD.
Hasn't made any impression on me to date. Will check & persevere!
Ref future, nobody knows it all - dust off them B sides!

Funny enough I've just started listening to the CD John gave away on the door at the recent RSG anniv. About 10 hours of music.
Brilliant. Thanks John

Am I alone in thinking this is truly awful load of old pap. Dire lyrics & a helium filled delivery.
Best summed up in one word, trite. Bin it before it causes some real damage.

Todays HOT sound for me is Pauline Shivers - Wont you Come Back Home. Secured TODAY for the pricely sum of £15. Heard the leg end that is Dave Abbott playing it out a couple of weeks ago. Anyone know much about it?

Hi Kev,
Just had a look at your site, v.impressed. See you have a base up the road from me - in Farnham. I'm fairly sure that I used to race off-road enduros with the guys in your building. Small world, eh?

Hi Ken,
Cheers for posting up. Just started playing through. Love that Shades Of Blue track. I was really taken aback when somebody said they were white artists.

Thanks for your observations Mr Codfromderby. I have taken on board your comments and will pass them on in due course.
You may be interested to know that he also intends to present a graphical nationwide map, with hot spots.
That way fellow soulies will be able to avoid areas with certain disproportionate levels of either say people that are dull as dishwater barking mad.
Yes I know exactly where you are coming from.
But he did record a version of it according to the link below on Album D'angelo?

A friend of mine as part of his degree course is due to submit a paper on the demographics of northern soul. After extensive research on the scene, his findings are nearing completion. Some parts of the paper make quite interesting reading.
For example during a study on the social interaction and sociability of soulies as classified by gender, some interesting differences are noted ie
Males:
12% Barking mad 70% Reasonable levels of sociability 18% Dull as dish water
Females
19% Barking mad 75% Reasonable levels of sociability 6% Dull as dish water
I wonder what your thoughts on this are?
