  1. Have a PRS license for work - but the whole thing is a sham. After taking out their expenses they forward the money on - but they refuse to advise who they are sending onto. The whole system is open to abuse.

  12. Was listening to James Fountain - 7 Day Lover and was struck by the fact its a perfectly good northern soul tune and a perfectly good 'modern' record. I'm sure there are plenty more tunes out there that would fit into the northern/modern catergory.....but what about other categories? Interested to here other peoples opinions for tunes that it perfectly well into 2 distinct categories ie northern/gospel, northern/latin, northern/garage, northern/blues etc.

  23. Following on from the sax thread - I can see there is a fair bit of fun to be had playing the sax or drums or whatever instrument over the top of a soul record. I've had a look at quite a few download sites & have found bugger all. Anybody care to help out by suggesting a couple of sites?
