On the plus side Jimmy still plays 'A Man Like Me' in his live set....he put it back in on my birthday last February,and was with him a few weeks ago and once again he sang it ......and don't forget he wrote 'I Feel Alright' the big play from Turley Richards..... here he is in a photo at 78yrs old autographing the Hungarian EP containing his live version whilst on tour there at the time...

I regulary went down Angels late 70's/80's ....used to go down after deejaying in Smackwater Jacks,in the early days they played a lot of Philly stuff and Barry White,Tavares etc... still have some tickets from that era (see below)...i used to dj down the Circulation when it changed ownership from Ken Leary to Paul Manning in the mid 70's

I have a nice white US mercury demo bought it from Italy around a year ago for around £45,played it in a spot i did in Huddersfield at the end, a few months ago,great track especially with the sax,and played a lot by Richard Searling as Mick says a few years ago.I have the other version on an album too ...

Mines the same as Dan's and Adam's .......bought it from the USA and arrived in a proper WB Sleeve,two stars on the SNTD side ...with QAL-0078-DJ 1B Scratched into both run out grooves .....

Had a few reports back from people who have been to see him,all really good,so i may be tempted to see him in Bolton.... One person i spoke to enjoyed Richard's Temptations better than the real ones that tour at the moment :-)
