So nice to see all the comments on here to a top bloke...Without soul source we would have never known there is life in Sheffield,Rugby and many many more places that aint on the map.. ..We have all met so many nice people (and a few not so nice )from being on here and i know people like Joan,Rachel,Dave,Shane and many more would not have a life without it ..Through soul source i met Brett and he got me off the waggon on back onto the wonders of all day/night drinking...People use this site for many reasons,some have even got dates and sexy encounters ..Its part of daily life now and just what is needed for a bunch of sad folk who never go out..Long may it shine and god bless all (well most) who have nothing better to do... I am glad i met Mike Hughes,he helped keep rare soul alive along with many others on here...He gave Shane a job and got him off the streets..Keep smiling and speak to you all soon because you aint got nowt else to do... steve... Drinking only affects the person who is drinking..Not if they spill it all over the dancefloor or step out of order when they have had too much..I am a weekend smoker only at soul events,i would choose a smoking venue if i had the choice but its the music that counts...If they go no smoking then its no-problem,i aint a big smoker but many i know are and would be in and out of the venue all night..I was in Dublin last year for a soul event and after a while you get used to the no smoking policy and they do have little rooms that you can use..Now what about no beer like it was in the old days would there be any of you lot there

I have cried along with many others singing this song while on the dancefloor.. Just thinking about the song makes me weak! Who knows..It depends what you call the scene or music..So many different types of stuff....60s northern will have quite a bit of fresh blood/younger people to keep it going but not on the scale of today..It would be a smaller underground scene...The scene at the moment,10 years tops i would say but who knows??????many of us are around the late 30s/early 40s and not thinking of tea dances and wheel chair ramps for a good while..

We all have different ears from early RnB,oldies,newies,Crossover etc etc tec..Bobby Cline is magic for me and many others,plus the Ascots is a class track...Real feel good track...I can't stand that Dance Dance Dance track,it makes me feel ill but others love it...This post will just go on and on and solve nowt..Live and let live...James T and Mr Smith on this thread,that should keep it interesting for a while.. -

We shall see.. If its the last event at this place then we shall go out in style... My special guest was gonna be Keith Money but sadly he had work rota changed and will not be available... Not to worry we have a great line up for an 8 hours of rare soul.. My special guest is Christian H from the real side soul club in Sweden,Olof and the gang will be over to support him also....
