    Like most things these days, you have both camps or many different ones.. Some will like the dance comp and see it as an important part of the night.. Others ( myself included )would see it as a chance to go for a walk/ piss/ fag etc... Like Chalky and others say, whats the point really as some of the best dancers don't ever take part and we see some pretty poor entrants with very limited footwork who throw themself on the floor, it looks like they aint dancing to the record being played .... Don't go to any events apart from Cleethorpes where the comp would be held.... Never liked this kind of thing, did enter just once after tooooo much vino and other stuff.. Its like a bad dream to think of it now... Maybe its like x factor they aint the best by no means but the only ones who would have the front.. peace xx

    Yes Spirit.. Sort it out with the promoter and get satisfaction.. Don't let them bully you... You don't have to be Columbo to work out who the promoters are, just avoid them in the future... Some folk can only take the piss if you all let them... Now back to Heartbeart xxxx

    Got given a copy of Mercy... Souded pretty good in the wee small hours at home after a night out... Does this poll mean just rare soul events??? Could see that track getting plays at some hip city retro events for sure... I vote not for the rare soul event but would lose no sleep at all if it was played.. Not a bad track on first listen but not sure it would stand the test of time... Some bloke wrote that its not rare at £6.99... Would he say the same thing about Nicole Willis??? same price but a much better tune imo and does get played at some rare soul events and does/ did go down pretty well..

    Very good points made... Lets hope the real underground scene will always be there.. To travel to get my fix is a joy... Can't say there is no scene though,there are still a good lot of folk who want to keep it real, that in itself is a scene, no matter how small or large..

    Sad to see things come to this.. To name and shame is a method that could make the said person pay up but at the end of the day its one word against another... Maybe something in writing is the way forward for large record transactions in some cases.. The name and shame thing could get out of hand with a person naming another out of malice/ hate etc and the named person aint done nothing wrong.. There would be legal issues for the site or people to deal with... Imagine having your name put on the forum and people thinking the worst of you and you aint done anything wrong, just a thought but there are some sad/ sick f"ckers out there..
