  1. Have said before..... The term crossover.. I first remember hearing the term from Richard Sealing at Parkers hotel in Manchester, early 90s... Think he was playing Cornelius brothers at the time.. cheers
  2. Hi Manus We make this point how many times but some will always have to be looking for this box, that box bla bla bla... Human nature i guess for some.... While some of you spend hours and days looking for them boxes, we just sit there and listen to music from the gods and take each tune on its soulful output... Peace brothers and sisters... Listen to the music... xxx
  3. befoe they crossed over
  4. Another epic comes towards a close,... Paul Mooney's post is something that rings true to me... I collect and play music, of many styles... Love my bangiing 60s alongside many other forms... Go easy folks and just dig what you wanna dig and leave others to do the same.... Does that make us Bi soulful ( one who can embrace black music in many forms )... One day we love the macho stompers and another we are slack wristed jingly jangly carpet dancers... Say it out loud, its part of the healing process.. I will.... My name is Steve, i like a bit of everything I aint Martha or Arthur I am bi soulful.... Come join me and leave the pigeons to scratch around looking for boxes... Next topic.... Can you define cross under
  5. tune indeed... Would be interested to see both sound files put up... I will always have this in my playbox... The Green issue is ok but in my book its not the best mix for me.. But i could be wrong, not played the green issue out on a big sound system.. cheers

  14. maybe any who have seen the screening can let us know if the trailor bits for the film where all in the test screening???? Do they think the test screening will be much different from the finshed product????
  15. yes quite a few members have seen the screening and they were also there for the filming as extra's etc.. Thats all been covered in past thread, should not be too hard to find...
  16. Is that rock on or................. Its carry on Sorry back on topic...
  17. Nothing to do with function at the junction mate.... Yes there are a few storylines that look the same , its this kind of thing that would have been of interest to talk through with the film makers if they ever come back onto this forum... Function at the Junction was a different production company, they too were trying to get together a feature film, along with a few others, maybe like all them football hooligan films, they will all come out in a short space of time... who knows how the film industry works.. Imagine a thread on here talking about 3 films at once , that would take up a 100 pages i guess
  18. Sometimes things get lost in text.... No cynicism from me.... I was just trying to play devil's advocate....
  19. Castle Greatstone.... If any other are gonna come to the Greatstone soul club afterwards then have a look at club in events talk, they will need you to give names to be put on the door.. pm Mark Baildon... Meeting in the fringe bar around 7pm with other members, its ove the road from the Band on the wall..
  20. The golden question on many subjects when talking about shite, one mans shite is another mans apple from the garden of Eden... The only way is to judge it when it comes out, we will soon get a feel from members on here as what they think of it...
  21. never seen it, could i have a look after you Simon, will look after it... The Sink angle would be of interest, we did some filming there in the 90s and included the original owner and some of the punters from the 60s.. As Steve said, lets just wait and see now with regards to this film, maybe some more milage in this if any connected to the film want to have a word but that seems a long shot, they have kept a real distance since coming on the forum before filming..... The silence speaks volumes.... Very impressive script from Chorley soul, something real in that......
  22. interesting point Wiggy, is that your real name We shall soon see won't we.... if its gonna hit the big screen??????? Mr Sadot said maybe straight to dvd?????? Its questions like this that the film makers could help with???? Billy said they do read the threads....
  23. Sharon got tickets from Tom at Beating Rhythm today.. Give them a bell, it is sold out i hear,,
  24. Hi mate No i said they were members, well some are because they posted before filming.. Lets wait and see for sure, as i have said, there will be plenty chance for comment after release.... Maybe some more input from them on this forum could have helped calm this all down, just a thought.. Married life is ok mate, bout time really, i aint no spring chicken Take care mate..
