  3. Skegness rare soul weekender... Perfect for you, that starts Friday and goes on to Sunday night... 2 hours or so by train ooooooop North and a good reason to get out of god forsaken shandy drinking cess pit... There will be folk going to the weekender from down South, they could maybe give you a life, share train???? anyone... I can also ask London based mates what on in the smoke, nothing i can see posted in events but not everything gets posted there.. With your choice in music there could be some Mod related events that cover RnB/ 60s soul/ funk/ boogaloo etc etc.. maybe Rob Bailey/ Clanger/ Warren/ Simsy/ Sam/ etc etc, all members on here??? Lets look after our friend from over the pond, he could bring us record mailers for free ... I am sure you will get some good feedback and hope you get to have a nice little break...

  6. Have deleted the topic regarding Soul Or Nothing clothing company.. I have made contact with them now.. But again i say that soulornothing clothing gots nothing to do with me.. And the new member called soulornothing is nothing to do with me at all.. Soul Or Nothing is my club night... Manchester based.... for around 7 years now.. Soulornothing clothing is based in Leeds and have been trading for around 3 years i have been told... Confusing to some and thats why i am getting requests for tea-shirts etc etc etc... Lets hope i get no more...

The plan was to get in early doors and bag a table and have a base for the night... 10.12 i walked through the door and the fu"king place was packed , Good vibe from a real good seasoned niter crowd with a smattering of youth, a reeeeeeeeet good mix.. Had a social night and had many chats as could not get on the dancefloor many times in the night, chocker and bouncing, just what any dj wants to see... Really good to have a good chat with bloke from Carlisle ( soul source member and had a freind called Pip ) thanks for the cds, will get them played tonight... And a good chat with yet another Steve and his good wife, pleasure to chew your ears off.... So pleased for the promotions team and all involved, all the hard work paid off... Got a lift back home to my door from them really nice shaggers, top blokes indeed.. Deep soul Sunday for me now after a niter " little Ann singing " deep shadows" .. Had my ying bigtime last night... Time for yang now.... peace... soul and rice pudding.... Steve

  13. Back to the Ritz and only a 15 min walk for me .. This is the same weekend as Radcliffe all niter?? a good chance for folk to really make a weekend of it in Manchester.... Gonna be much interest in this one off for sure.... Bank hols for Ireland and Scotland , i know a few from over the water who could be up for this..
  14. A small price to pay but a really nice gesture.. We did the same for O.V. Wright a few years back, he was also in a unmarked grave and it gave me and others a great deal of satisfaction.. Nice to focus on the coming together thats so special at times...
  15. Kev H.. Rare North Notts picture cover on the tight arse lable.. cover.. vg , can read text and view image but smells a bit damp, more water damage than wee i think.. Vinyl is vg++ slight wear and plays on 78 after midnight

  21. Yes some posties leave cards and don't knock, that means they did not have the package with them , maybe too heavy or they think we are never in and leave in the post office.. Got a package today from USA, its only took a week and great packaging from Craig Moerer , good swift delivery and quality packaging, thats what we all want....
