With the amount of events i would think it rather silly with all the views from the odd club.. Its a rich and vibrant scene, you may have to travel to find it but aint that part of the challenge... I guess some want it all at the end of the street.... There is much in the middle of Wooly Booly and Amy Whinehouse, thank the lord... If you cant find something from the ammount of events listed then there is no hope for you.... We have a tradition of " searching for soul"... In the words of Marvin " seek and you will find "

I hope we get a good cross section of views from this broad church of soul music.. The problem is that we don't get enough feedback from genuine punters who ain't djs/ collectors or promoters.. Let's hope this topic changes that...

Sad to say it's getting worse Billy.... Now we have the weekenders to contend with as well.... You would think these promoters could sit down and talk it through but they act like spoilt children... The rise of the European rare soul scene as been a great adventure for many of us.... Its opened up a whole new world of people to meet and wonderful places to go..... With family life i aint getting out as much these days but looking forward the Cannonball weekender, Italy in November.... . Had the pleasure to travel around this globe and find soul.... Let us know where you have been going overseas or plan to go.. Whats your experience of the scene there..... A feel good topic to wash away the Monday blues... x
