    Haven't heard that many of the "younsters" but the last one I heard Joel Maslin at The 100 Club. 29 (I believe) and played an outstanding set thumbsup.gif

    alex simms and his mate pete play some nice tunes around the yorkshire area.

    good to have the young ones keeping the scene alive

    Hi Sian, there must be different types, and thanks for making me aware of that, see below :-

    They are foam lined and hold Technics SL1210's and all other turntables of a similar size up to 454mm x 378mm x 174mm. A foam block in the lid holds the platter in place

    Over in the States at the mo, and its Halloween Madness everywhere (At least in WV).

    Can we get a few tunes listed for the American DJs looking in who may be doing a function on Saturday.

    Ill start with Jackie Wilsons Haunted House.............

    Cats Whiskers Leeds

    Did anyone go to the Cats Whiskers Alldayers during the mid 70's. I used to go in order to have a rest from Wigan. The place is is no longer there. I also remeber as a young teenager seeing posters in Leeds old bus station for allnighter at either the Cats Whiskers or The Central. Also remember older people at my school going to an allnigter at The Queens Hall Leeds around 1974.

    September/october Manifesto

    Has anyone seen the September/ October issues of Manifesto ?.

    I was talking to another subscriber recently who like me had not seen one for September. I have sent emails to Mike and Sarbina without response and this followed other problems earlier in the year which thankfully Ian Dewhurst gave some time up to help sort out, although I am still missing two from last year.

    White Card Record Sleeves Can Any One Help ?

    Wondered if any one on here knows where i can get some good quality white card record sleeves (7inch) . I have bought some off ebay recentley from seperate dealers and they were shite - white on the outside but grey on the inside and very flimsy. I used to get them from a guy off ebay 5 or 6 years ago and they were great (white inside and out), but have lost His details......any help would be greatly appreciated !

    ARETHA FRANKLIN "One Step Ahead" b/w "I Can't Wait Until I See My Baby's Face" (Columbia) 1965-ish

    Not fussed if it's an issue or a demo, but nice condition would be, err, nice. And vinyl over styrene would be even nicer.
