Northern Soul
Great memories of that venue, did my apprenticeship there, Gary Rushbrooke, John Poole, Soul Sam, Clive Jones ( what ever happened to him). I used to take a tape recorder along with me, still got some old tapes even today, great tunes, then the long walk to the railway station for the train home to Derby, I remember buying Toni basil ..Breakaway £25, Jimmy McFarland..Lonely lover..£8 !, Kelly St.Claire...Hear that beat..£20, Joannie Summers..Don't Pity me..£10. Wish I still had them.

Grapevine 2000
Amazing stuff, I resisted buying them for along while, which I now consider to be a slightly foolish decision, so many quality tracks. Think I will be actively picking them up from now on. Recent release......Dottie Pearson...Bring it over baby....#152 is one of the best tracks I've heard for ages

Emidiscs - Them Were The Days
I had 2, Don Ray ....Born a loser, & Yvonne vernee..just like you did me ( slightly fast ). Good quality sound. Seem to remember some guy from Leicester who used to advertise in " Black Echo's" that he could put most big sounds on EMI, Not sure of his name, think the quality of them was a bit "Shakey".
