Without getting into a heated debate about what's good Northern and what's bad, I can't understand why anyone would want to spend that kind of money on what are two poor Northern records IMO......

I actually prefer Robin Rice version..............

I've given up looking at dealers boxes now, prices are a joke in most IMO. Still loads of bargains on the net.......

I love the term " Anorak ", to me it suggests someone who is deeply involved, and passionate about the music, and gets themselves off to sleep at night reading label discographys....... Ironically, you don't see too many soulies wearing Anoraks nowadays, maybe they a ready for revival. Anyway i'm off to bed now, got me cup of cocoa, and Manship guide under my arm.....Night Night

This record has been doing it's rounds on tapes for years without actually making an impact, great track IMO.......Just lacks a little Ummmph if you now what I mean. possibly why it's never really gone big.

A very good point Joe, I have noticed that the younger element of the scene do tend to enjoy R&B. Maybe the Northern stuff is now just for old fa*rts taking a trip down memory lane.......

Glad to hear you enjoyed it John, and it was nice to see you there...... I can't really comment on the whole weekend, because I was only there saturday. I enjoyed it in th Queen Vic listening to the R&B stuff, which isn't normally my kind of stuff......But a good atmosphere
