Timely reminder there, I'd forgotten about the O'Jays version...... I just seen one on Gemm for $144..... seems a bit steep, always thought the O'Jays version was quite common.

Oddly enough I was talking to John Weston about the track at the 100 club on Saturday, and he didn't seem suprised at the £120 price. He told me that since he played it recently, he's been inundated with offers for the record. I remember the record being pressed, and I beleive 1990 is about right, I was also aware of the Essex connection......

Saw a copy of this for sale down the 100 club on Saturday night. It had a £120 price tag on it Have I missed something, cause I always considered it around £35 - £40......... What would be it's current value............?

I once put on a fly sheet ....." Strictly no played out Oldies " so If anyone comes and asks for a " Northern top 100 " track i'd just smile and point at the flyer. ALWAYS be clear on flyers what your music policy is then there can never be complaints. Likewise it get's up my nose when promoters put " Northern and Motown " on flyers just to get punters through the door, then play " rare".

Phew.....And there was me thinking I was the only Non smoking soulie in the world.... Do the words Healthy and Soulie go together, Thinks one or two soulies get a bit uncomfortable when the word Healthy is mentioned. Anyway I'm off out for a run now
