  1. Pete Smith just listed one on Facebook.
  2. I didn't know Dave Rivers, as such, although I met him once or twice, years ago at the Castle in Tooting. I do recall buying a copy of Darrow Fletcher's My Young Misery from him, one night. Rest in Peace Dave.
  3. I saw this video earlier this morning, but have just placed an order for a couple of records. I'm willing to wait for delivery. I mean used to take a week or two (sometimes longer) when buying from the US on Ebay. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18S4zNzu9g/
  4. None of them jump. On the night there was a note included alluding to a jump/skip, but the jump was caused by Ady's deck when playing the test copy. That's why he thought there was a jump/skip.
  5. Two remaing dates for Twilight Zone Soul Club.
  6. I went with the wife to see her on a farewell tour some years back at Royal Albert Hall. The majority of show were gospel songs, left feeling a bit disappointed.
  7. Bob and Fred got most people talking, but I'm in disbelief over Dobie Gray!
  8. Can't believe the sex discrimination that went on back then, 'Gents over 21 and Girls over 18' But more to the point, who was "Chunky Phil"?
  9. Sorry misread Demo.
  10. Came out twice, GW38 & GW44. GW38 b/w Big Time Fun GW44 b/w C.O.D (Collect on Delivery)
  11. Article on BBC website https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4nyngq88j0o.amp
  12. Sorry to say it, but this thread is like a scratched record.
  13. I'm not a Christmas person, all too commercialised. Getting bombarded with advertising as though you've got an endless supply of cash to spend on crap you don't want or need. As for people being on their own and lonely, that is a year round issue. Can never understand why it's made such an issue at Christmas, but forgotten about by the New Year. One of the things I've realised as I've got older is, its not about the gifts and money lavished on one another, alot of the time it's as simple as just spending time with people. Bah Humbug.
  14. Sad news. I met Paul about 20 years ago at a Soul in the City do. Always said hello when bumping into one another on occasions over the years. Condolences to his family and friends.
  15. My stock copy uploaded to you tube some years back.
  16. Thats a difficult one to answer. As it doesn't state frequency, for example Weekly, Monthly, Twice a Month, Twice a Year, Once a Year. I know some people who attend weekenders almost every month, myself maybe 1 or 2 a year. So can't answer with any real accuracy, or am I just overthinking the question?
  17. Surely bidders have entered incorrect bids for Carstairs.
  18. Roger Banks has one listed.
  19. Sure I've seen a couple of them up for sale recently at £75, and I thought that was too much.
  20. Looking at an old thread on Jesse Fisher, I'm not convinced this version was the first release. jesse fisher your not loving a beginner https://www.soul-source.co.uk/forums/topic/354376-jesse-fisher-your-not-loving-a-beginner/
  21. This on in Brighton, not too far from London.
  22. As mentioned by two others, feel exactly the same about Suspicion.
  23. I looked at the auction when Philharmonics was at £155, at the same time there was a mint minus copy listed on here for £100.
