I know it's pretty scarce which doesn't make it good... There's one known copy of 'The Tickler' which isn't good either.
Reggae:
Junior Soul - Glendevon Special
Trevor & The Maytones - Every Day Is Like A Holiday
Derrick Harriott - It's Alright
Dennis Walks - Belly Lick
Roman Stewart - While I Was Walking
Ska/Rocksteady:
Alton Ellis - Mouth A Massy
Alva Lewis - Hang my head
Ferdie Nelson - Lonely & Blue Boy
Don Drummond - China Town
Hopeton Lewis - Cool Cool Collie
Junior Soul - Miss Cushie
My taste probably changes within a week, but that's what I like right now.
it's much harder to make a good list on ska/rocksteady because there are soooooo many great tunes... Reggae is easier because I don't like most of that organ overkill "skinhead" tunes. I'm mainly into '68, Derrick Harriott, George Murphy, Duke Reid and of course Coxsone productions.
Soul:
Eddie Kendricks - Date With The Rain
NA Allen - Thanks For Nothing
Wild Sound Unlimited - I Know You
Claude Huey - Drifting
Montclairs - Unwanted Love
Impalas - Speed Up
Soul is much harder for me, there are just too many tunes to pick (Northern or Modern, I like both). I'm listening Soul for something like 1.5 years or so but been into Motown etc. for some time now.
