  1. Roger still sells them, but tends to only bring the folders out at weekenders. Here's some beginning with A - B Big Maybelle Betty Lavette Betty Lloyd Barbara Lewis Apollas Andantes Alvin Cash Adlibs
  2. Got to say, as a 'norvernner' I found this thread both interesting and funny, especially as I now know quite a lot of the people who have posted.
  3. Just for interest, here's the other Kent cassette which was given away with NME
  4. Well there are at least two within ten miles of you because I've got one as well.
  5. Yes that did occur to me. But I somehow feel that whoever it is won't actually give me their contact details when, and if, they get in touch.
  6. and I've just spoken to him and he said you'd just spoken to him as well Keith
  7. Hi Thorsten, I believe they were specially pressed for juke boxes (although I've never come across a juke box that plays at 33 and has a small hole centre). I've had a couple of them though so whilst it is unusual, I don't think they are particularly rare.
  8. But how many did you manage to get in the intervening 28 years ?
  9. To save people looking, postage to the UK is quoted at $65.64
  10. Now are you sure about that Dave, I mean don't mince your words I agree with you though
  11. Oh God, you mean you're coming back ! I thought we had resurected the 'Lend / Lease' arrangement and used you as payment for a new McDonalds or something I'tll be good to see you again Russ
  12. I think it was probably 'something like that', because I know of nobody who voted in any sort of poll, and I'd be as suspicious of the poll as I am of some of the alleged 'quotes' by people.
  13. Or how often has he sold the same cracked record Sean's on SS with the user name of some 1930's Grimsby footballer, Albert Postlethwaite, or something similar, so I'm sure he'll be squirming with embarassment at all the comments about what a nice guy he is. Trouble is, it's true Him being a nice guy I mean, not that he keeps selling the same cracked record
  14. Have A Good Time - tammy wayne - boom 14511 refosoul 'Fraid mine's not for sale either. Good though innit !
  15. I think people don't understand your question. I certainly don't, what are HOT BOX titles ?
  16. But of course. If our flight is on time we should arrive at Treviso at 22:00, so I guess it won't be much before midnight when we get there, and by then I'll be thirsty.
  17. Precisely the dodgy looking compilation I was refering to
  18. A mixture I would say. There are definitely some genuine CD releases from genuine record companies on there, but there are also some rather dodgy looking compilations.
  19. Bearing in mind that you live in Italy, I guess you don't have much choice to send everything with the Italian post office If the snow here clears, I'll see you tomorrow or Saturday
  20. Funnily enough I asked Carl Fortnum to play it at the Marrs Bar last Saturday, and he did.
  21. And probably the wife, dog, cat, rabbits, car, house, next door's house ! Been after one for years, had the money, nobody will sell me one. I only know of three copies, I'm sure there are more, but don't know how many.
  22. Completely 100% true. It was a DJ playing an acetate copy of 'Man Oh Man' Walter & The Admerations at Winsford. I was there when he did it. (But I wasn't the DJ !)
  23. Of course you'll have heard of him..........."My affiliations were to the Northern Soul rude boy movement." Hasn't everyone heard of the Northern Soul rude buy movement !
  24. It was HTFR that I suggested to Ian
  25. If, like me, you forgot to record this, it's repeated on Thursday night at 11.55 pm
