  10. I must admit I've never used a snipe bidding service, but then again I don't buy that much off Ebay. Out of interest, how much does it cost to use a snipe bidding service ?
  11. Isn't that a double negative ? So you're ok to post Donna Sorry Mike, couldn't resist it, but I do support your stance on personal attacks, healthy debate is great, but it has spilled over on the odd occasion.
  12. I'd attend, if I wasn't DJing somewhere else, if The 100 Club wasn't on, if Rugby wasn't on, if Middleton wasn't on, etc, etc. So I might manage it once a month sometimes.
  13. And he's photographed a scratched in matrix, what more could you ask for
  14. Yes it did Brett, 'Supremes Sing The Show Tunes' or something similar, US CD
  15. Agree on both counts, one thing puzzled me though. Chess Records was owned by Phil & Leonard, you wouldn't have known it from the film !

  17. Thought the different labels were Demo and Issue. I wasn't aware of any other.
  18. Actually his eighth release. Dobie Gray Discography
  19. Just got in from The Oakley allnighter, so I'd like to wish every one who knows me Happy New Year And I'll see you in a record bar in 2009 Cheers
  20. I've had a quick skim through it now and it looks really interesting. Especially the discography at the back....which appears to contain the same formatting mistakes as a discography on a web site I know quite well
  21. DON'T DO THIS IF THE RECORD IS MADE OF STYRENE ! It does work perfectly with vinyl records though because I've done the very same thing.
  22. The when is really the key for me. Happy to attend / DJ, take money on the door, whatever, but I need the date.
  23. My youngest son bought me Tommy Hunt's book for Christmas, and I'm looking forward to reading it later when the telly is crap. I was just wondering how many other Soul Sourcers got a copy ?
