Just name them to show who is responsible for trying to perpetrate a fraud on every other member of the site, then boot 'em, and block any further aplications from the same ISP.

Soul claim to fame
In this case 'Grumpy' is probably more appropriate.

Come On, Be A Man, My Son
You've lost me on that one. and I must admit I thought you were Stuart Tyler, I may be wrong of course. To be honest though, you can call me what you like, I might answer, I might answer with an extreme violent reaction, or I might just ignore you. There again, you have the same three choices if you call me Dave :-) The whole point to my post was, it's easy to ignore who owns what copyright, I'm not claiming any holier than thou status here, but just wanted to make the point. I was, as usual, wrong, because Graham has used a free download as his avatar (Hopefully the site he downloaded it from has paid the licence) and Chalky is using a photograph he took of Speedy Gonzales twin brother. I should have realised. I'm also not condoning in any way shape or form what happened to Ady and Butch, but not knowing the facts have refrained from passing comment on that, but I have to agree with the opriginal poster on this thread (Forgotten who it was now) there has been a certain element of "I know something you don't" to some of the postings that have been made.

A REPLY FROM KEV ROBERTS

Come On, Be A Man, My Son
I presume you have paid the necessary licence fee for the piece of film you use as your avatar then ? After all, it's a clearly recognisable image, so someone must own the copyright on that particular film clip. Same with Chalkies cartoon character as well I suppose :-) The point being you have to take into account the reasonableness of each issue on it's own individual merits. Sure, strictly speaking, someone owns the images you both use, but I for one would think it unreasonable to expect you to have to licence the image to use as your avatar on Soul Source. The same principle applies to Soul nights and allnighters.

'Big money' sounds of yesteryear
The one that sticks in my mind was John Manship paying £180 for Seven Day Lover, and a week later it came out on Cream

I have some vague memory that it also came out on Brunswick. there is another single by Demetris Trapp on Brunswick, but steer well clear, it's pure ashtray material.

Magic of Motown - competition
Especially as it told you which ones you got wrong, so you just go back and try a different answer. Never could remember when Motown moved, took me three go's to get that right, got all of the others right first time though

Already have been Mike. That's where I got some of the stuff from, but the listing as it stands is all he, and I could come up with between us.

The Ru-Jac Label
The Ru-Jac label must be the most complicated (or just plain crazy) numbering system I've ever come across. I've listed what I've got below, and as you'll see, the numbers have no sequence, are repeated, might not exist, and are possibly completely out of order as far as dates. So if any one can fill in some of the gaps I'd be really grateful. Rujac Ru-Jac 01 - ? Ru-Jac 02 - ? Ru-Jac 03 - ? Ru-Jac 04 - ? Ru-Jac 05 - ? Ru-Jac 06 - ? Quality northern soul downloads
I answered the question as to whether the hosting of sound on websites is illegal, and added that it is up to the individual website owner's own sense of responsibility and morals. I find it rather strange that YOU are then asking ME whether you should host sound on your site. I have no opinion on whether you should host sound, I tried to make that perfectly clear by saying it's up to YOUR own sense of responsibility and morals, and I'm not in a position to judge that. You might view Soulclub as an educational tool (I've used it myself to listen to tracks I didn't know or remember), but under the laws of this country, it is still illegal, whatever you view it as, and that's the question I answered.
