  1. Ha ha, that was taken during the adult, mature, and sophisticated game of musical statues that Ady press ganged us into at Cleethorpes this year.
  2. Is it the 8th July when I'm on at PONDS FORGE ? Good plug mate
  3. I'd disagree with this statement more than any of the rest. Anyone is welcome to look through my DJ box and if you find any acetates cut off CDs, or acetates of records that I can't afford you can quite happily publicise the fact to the whole world and then hang me in a corner of the venue by the neck until dead. And I'm sure most other DJs on this site would say the same. To quote Mark Bicknell from another post " If you ain't got it, don't play it"
  4. Then don't bother reading it
  5. Deffo Rod Dearlove, not sure about Tim's involvement. And they were legitimate releases.
  6. You bastard Smith ! He's right though. The explanation being: I'm going to do a short spot at Phil and Sue's wedding, and they are using the 'in-house' DJ for most of the night. It would be a bit difficult using vinyl when there are no decks, just CD players ! It should be quite funny though, I can work a set of technics, and cue in properly even when I can barely stand up...now CD decks, that's a new experience !
  7. Pat Brady, Ady Croasdell.
  8. Keith Minshull.
  9. Ok, so that fishing trip didn't work
  10. Gary Farrington, he lives in Southport, but grew up in the same village as me in Warrington....Culcheth.
  11. Then how do you know it ain't the Monza's ?
  12. Used to be loads back in the Seventies. I remember going to a club in Hamilton Square, funny that, I can remember the address but not the name of the club. Main DJ there from memory was Terry Lennaine (Spelling ?) who used to do the Soul show on Liverpool's commercial equivelent of Manchester's Picadilly Radio. Roger the dodger should remember more, he's a scouse git Dave
  13. Yeah, thanks Kolla, I'd managed to erase that from my memory as well. Mind you, it was a crime against humanity never mind hell in a hand cart. And I still say Andy Rix cheated !!!!
  14. Possibly because he hasn't got a PC ???????????
  15. I remember that as well. John didn't turn up to DJ either.
  16. Why ? What motive do you think they might have for using a beer towel ?
  17. At the Motown weekender where Popcorn Wylie was on, I produced a special magazine about the artists. My wife, unwittingly, sold a copy to Popcorn ! She didn't know who he was !!!
  18. I love the fact that you've still got the piece of paper from 15 years ago !
  19. Have a word with Chris Waterman. He had some copies of the original poster at one time.
