  4. I've got one of those somwhere.
  5. Look at the name of the Take Away he went to......
  6. Do you want the other leg broken
  7. To be honest, not really. Like Pete Smith says, I think it's someone who has been creative on their PC. Some of the tracks sound like bad pub singers In fact, It's so bad, that I'll start taking it out with me at weekends, and the first SS member to give me three quid can have it (A saving of £119 I might add )
  8. Haven't seen a copy of the Ra Sel one for sale anywhere for at least a couple of years.
  9. As your last post was rather ambiguous, I'll just point out that it wasn't me.
  10. Well I picked a copy up at Middleton allnighter for three quid !
  11. Bids is in Longton, Stoke On Trent. One of Mace's do's
  12. Hiya Mark, Guess the painkillers I offered you at Middleton wouldn't have done the job then would they All the best, hope you are up and about fairly quickly, and if it comes to the worst can I have Eddie Parker and The Four Tracks Cheers
  13. yes
  14. What were you doing up a ladder at your age anyway Ted ?
  15. Ah yes, that Northern Soul icon, Stuart Maconie.
  16. Well yes, if you'd actually read my post properly, you'd realise that 6 X 6 was recorded by Motown as an instrumental. The vocal is by someone who went into Motown for an audition and sang a vocal over the instrumental. And you're right, the vocal doesn't it nicely over it. Which is proberbly the reason it remained unreleased.
  17. What more do you need other than my word ? I've nothing to gain by saying I've heard it, seen it, held it. Nor has Ted Massey. Nor has John Pugh. He's also had it years, but refuses to tape it for anyone because it is a genuine 'one-off', and as soon as he put's it on tape, it will eventually mysteriously appear somewhere else. Having said that, I've got it on tape from when he DJ'ed at the 100 Club, 'live' so to speak, so there are 'sound files around'. It's just that you haven't got one !
  18. Yes, John Pugh from Wolverhampton owns it. And before anyone says it doesn't, I've heard it played, seen it, and held it. So has Chris Anderton amongst others It's an unreleased Motown recording that was apparently recorded when someone went to Motown for an audition. When you hear the vocal you'll understand why he wasn't successful
  19. I've sold two at £40, and I know one of the people who bought one off Manship for £50
  20. got a bootleg for sale, make me a sensible offer
  21. That could well have been me.
  22. Yes, that's why Brett asked me.
  23. SKOW is the official flip side, that's why the single sided demos are the other side.
  24. Yeah but it's nearly always the single sided demo
  25. You don't collect proper records, you collect disco 12" records I actually DJ'ed with CDs last Saturday, and discovered how easy it is, the only thing that kept distracting me was the number of people who kept coming to the decks to take photos of me DJing with CDs (As a footnote, I'll add that it was at Phil Richards Wedding reception and there were only CD decks available so I'd have looked a bit of a plonker with my cherished 7" bits of vinyl trying to play them !!!!)
