Hi Guys Chuck Ray used to be a frequent give away in Soul Bowl soul packs nobody wanted it, it was deemed too slow at the time. It wasn't until crossover became popular and as Rick Scott mentions it received spins at Thorne it gained any value. The other side "Come Alive" Came out on another Chicago label Five-O with a rather dubious funk flip I.M.O It still baffles me why this is regarded as a £300-£400 record. Dave W

This Aquarius label was out of the Highland Park area of Michigan. Hi Cliff As for Pam Bowie if memory serves me right, she was a one time girlfriend of Ric Williams who also wrote He's All I Need/Everlasting Love. My first copy of this 45 was autograghed by Pam who gave this to a friend of mine's wife in the states. Pam also wrote a dedication to my friends wife, "To A Real Live Doll, Walkin' Talkin' etc which dates Pam's release to around the time of Cliff's( that Richard not Steele) NoI Hit "Living Doll" I was told that Pam was either a school teacher at the time or went onto be come one later.
