  1. Now then Andy Is your quote ' Your wasted mate' mean't as a term of endearment towards Jocko or a veiled threat in retaliation for him running you over with a golf buggy (twice for good measure) ? ......

  3. Alas oh so true, but these guys have still got it in abundance. Dave
  4. Or even Eunice Collins...... ...............'At The Hotel' Followed by Jesse Davis 'There's Rooms For Me', H.B. Barnum ' 3 Rooms With Running Water' & Duke Baxter ' Let Me Be Your Bed Sitter' ( yes, yes I know)
  5. IMHO Sydney's 'I Enjoy Loving You ' album on Daker is a far superior album .
  6. That's what happened Nev, nothing more, nothing less. I've more going on in my real life than to sit on here all day nit picking, the optimum word in your post is 'Legal' and that's all that matters. What people wish or not wish to pay for it is entirely up to them.
  7. The first copies of Rufus Woods were found by Soul Bowl in Jim Russell's in New Orleans (100 copies to be precise) being such a good record it sold out pretty quick so John contacted the label owner to get some more copies. The owner didn't have any so John got him to do a second press hence the green and black 2nd issue.
  8. It must have been released twice as there are most definitely pale green issues too with the same logo design in black as your scan Roburt
  9. Hi Roburt It's a very pale green label from what i can remember, with not that much details on. See if you can find your copy out and put a scan up, thus putting us all out of our misery
  10. During a conversation with Pete Wid at Cleethorpes the subject of a English record I had forgot about came up: Sweet Pea Atkinson 'Don't Walk Away' on the tiny Zing label. It's a cover version of the General Johnson song on Arista Dave
  11. I hope you found some room for Jesse James
  12. So Trev, you were hanging out in Carnegie, when we all thought you were in Rehab !

  17. Yes Nick You'd be surprised how many people missed out on the Moonlite Hope 45 as a new release, that's why we have included both sides of the 45 on Jesse's new album. Dave Soul Junction

  19. Nice One Jocko Audio's ' Won't Somebody' despite all the vitriol we (Soul Junction) received about only releasing it on a vinyl format has now virtually sold out. So due to this success a follow up release is now being recorded for release early next year. Keep your ears and eyes open for a even bigger announcement regarding Audio/ Vince Broomfield breaking soon Dave
  20. You tell 'em Joan, 'Good Little You'
  21. Hi Steve I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one to suffer the pleads of poverty from the infamous 'DJ Slimfast' I usual counter attack with the threat of charging International airmail rates once Scotland becomes fully independent
  22. Guess what ! the Soul Junction label have had the audacity to release a brand new vinyl only album on the legend that is Jesse James. Entitled 'Let Me Show You' SJ5005. Release Date: August 13th 2012 The album features both sides of his in demand Moonlite Hope 45 'I Got The Feeling/Let Me Show You'. The now deleted 2008 Soul Junction 45 release 'I Feel Your Love Changing' plus the full length version of 'I Gave You Love With An 'A' Plus. The previously unissued late 60's midtempo offering 'I Don't Want An Undivided Love' and a excellent cover version of the Terry Callier penned 'Just As Long As Were In Love' (also recorded by Terry, as well as the Mighty Dells) plus one or two others for good measure. Check out the soundfiles and cover design (from our very own Angelo Acanfora) on our website: www.souljunctionrecords.co.uk P.S I've already reserved you a copy Jock along with the Ivy Jo Hunter 45 'See You Around' that you forgot to pick up at Cleethorpes!!! Dave Soul Junction
  23. Sticky Records also put Running Out Of Gas out as a 45, 3 to 4 years back. Will was also the co producer on the Duane Williams( formerly Beverley & Duane) 45 and cd album we released on Soul Junction in 2008. Dave

Dave
