  8. Sorry kevin, all joking aside I think it is, yeah, this is for Frabob music - also produced Towanda Barne's funky cut "If I'm guilty" on Groovy, I think they're all New York labels (he also did stuff - technical term - for Verve & Capitol?)
  9. Billy Who?
  10. Lovely job, thanks Harry Any particular reason why they just did the single side, was it just to save a few quid? Cheers anyway Steve
  11. Thanks boba, I'll try £20, and yeah I prefer the flip side - deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
  12. Hello again, any info on The Volcanos "Storm Warning" white promo on Arctic 106 (scan attached) This is single-sided, but is it a boot or OK? Also, could I have a rough idea of its worth please? Any info appreciated thanks Steve
  13. Hi, was wondering if anyone could help re: the two below. Just want to know if they're proper and a rough price for sale please, especially on the Informations track as I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks in advance Steve
  14. Just bought this, seller told me he had a few for sale from a warehouse clearance. Good price - £30.00 - and only took a week from the States. Find 'em at: https://stores.ebay.co.uk/JDsRecordShop Good luck
  15. Now sorted for The Montereys & Grandeurs thx
  16. Yeah you can tell, chucked just about everything on the backing, you can see why they re-used it must have cost a fortune in musicians, tea & biscuits alone! How much would you pay for a Jay T, any idea?
  17. I didn't until I got a soundclip. Seems to ring a bell but I can't quite put my finger on..... Aah gotcha. Very nice track, though my knees are aching just listening to it, but not as damn soulful as the Butlers IMHO. A worthy addition to any collection (if someone, somewhere, happened to have one for sale ) Any more info on the two tracks - why same backing etc? Were they labelmates?
  18. And Dee Clark "That's my Girl" ta
  19. Hello Harry, it's a small world - just been thinking about this on ebay: https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOMMY-BUTLER-RIGHT-O...Q2em118Q2el1247 Decent price at £40
  20. Good home waiting for "She tried to kiss me" Liberty Bell" and "Come home to me" on Cardinale (at right price ) Ta Steve
  21. Cheers Roger, I pmd "Debc" yesterday to see if she'd had any more info since, bit cheeky I know but the thread does sort of "leave you hanging" Thx Steve
  22. "There's a thread on here about record grading (probably several )" Hehe - Cheers Andy, and yeah, it does seem a little 'subjective' to say the least, but this is well handy, ta very much Steve
  23. Cheers Andy - and here's me thinking I'm gonna get a simple "Yay or Nay" on 'em. What sort of condition would you people describe these if selling, as they've all been played, have a few inaudible surface scuffs, but all play beautifully? Is that EX? VG? G? If I do decide to sell them I don't want anyoinie thinking I'm a chancer if I'm way out you know? Cheers again
