Yep, lovely looking and a great sound I used to play bass in a 60's garage band (The Nicks - we were awful ) and our guitarist used one of these - sounded awesome fuzzed up! -

Hello, I've got a party in North Wales next month and the partees want me to end it after the soul with some funk - haven'y told them I've only got a few funky bits mind so I'm after tips on stuff that I can follow/finish with after, say, Tommy Stewarts Bump & Hustle Music/Disco Hop etc - an equally great album with a few good 'uns like this would be ideal (or a couple) Any ideas please? Thanks in advance

Cheers pikeys dog - that'd be why my top bid of £130 got blown away then

Hi Matt, to help myself over the pain of selling my Bobby Valentine for £20 ("Never gonna take off this one" ) it's probably cheaper now to get the "Let's turn on arrebatarnos" album on Fania. Probably about a ton on original, but there's also a legit re-issue - check out Dusty Groove or Jet Records https://www.jetrecords.fr/liste/p_produit.c...e=1α=0 Good luck, if you get a 45 I'll give you £30 for it Steve

Cheers J-Brew

"I was in the pub the other day, on my own waiting for a mate to turn up. Leant against the bar, helping myself to some peanuts when I hear this voice say "Alright Stevo, how you doin? Christ you're looking good, been working out? And that packet in your pants? Jesus Christ!" I turn round a bit shocked, 'cos the pubs still completely empty, but just then the barman appears - "You alright fella, you look a bit spooked?" I tell him I'm fine, order my pint, he buggers off and I sit down next to the fruit machine, rolling myself a smoke to take the edge off. Just then.. "Look at the state of you, you w****r, been shopping in Scope and getting haircuts off mumsy again, effeminate p***k" Still an empty pub, so i'm up like a shot to the bar calling for the barman and tell him all about the voices - he rolls his eyes, says "Oh yeah sorry mate, meant to warn you about that, but the...." Record Sale - buy one, get punchline to joke free!!
