  1. By the way that was a joke (before anyone gets the wrong idea about Ian D etc...)
  2. Cheers Ian, top man - you will post it though?
  3. Hi Rachel, tried going on his homepage but it is set on 'private' - so he's nothing to hide then! But I'll try the tracking techno-thingy, thx
  4. Yep, this is what I mean and why I asked in the first place - I know sometimes sh*t just happens, so how long is long enough? He seems genuine enough - though this is the first time I've ever had problems with the PO - and it is only 3 weeks BUT not answering my PM's is giving me the right hump - but then he could be on holiday I'd like to give him a bit longer if only because of that.......but I don't want to be taken for an herbert...........
  5. Hello all, after a bit of advice as I'm not known for my tactfulness. I bought & paid for a 45 from a member of this forum on Sept: 12th, hasn't turned up as yet though apparently posted. OK, so good so bad, sh*t happens, but member hasn't replied to my PM's since 22nd. As I'm a relative newcomer on here and mature enough to finally admit burning bridges for good isn't always the cleverest thing to do could some of you longer term members give me some advice as to how to proceed - after all, this must have happened before at some point, might even be a good reason for the no-show. Cheers in advance
  6. Still after this if anyone can help please? Thanks for looking
  7. "Haunting" - that's the word Peter, perfect, it's been haunting me since I first heard it - and Simsy, if you want to send that dodgy-looking white copy down to me I'll give it the proper 'once over' if you like
  8. Cheers fellas, knew it was going to be a few quid - my all-time No: 1 though, so I'd better start saving. Actually got it on vinyl, an old Soul Supply LP called, fittingly, "For Collectors Only" Not the same though Thanks again
  9. Ebening, can anybody give me a ballpark figure on this Prophonics release please? Cheers in advance
  10. Any info on this at all please..............? I know it's not an expensive one but numbers are different to that on Manship's site Thx
  11. Have I just bought a boot? Got this on yellow label Up Records but cat: no: is 2102 & x-5168 & x-5169 written in deadwax (a & b sides) Any info appreciated thx
  12. I'm certainly no niter DJ like most of you on here but when I do my 'parties' I always start with Lee Rogers "Cream of the crop" - guitar intro always seems to set things up nicely before kick-off - and end with Mr. Moonlight - I just don't tell anyone who it's by!
  13. So £1.75's about right then? Thought it was cheap, but then I also thought it was legit too Cheers lads
  14. Hello, any clues as to how to tell the proper from a boot? Cheers
  15. Cheers for the warning Reg, I'm desperate for the tune - can't afford the Faro - but not sure if I'm that desperate. Still, soon be Xmas..............?
  16. Just the Oliver Norman & Fabulous Denos to go - mucky but cheap will do-just like my women

  21. Well you learn something new every day - I always the Joker's were proper re-issues? Shame 'cos I certainly can't afford it on Faro (can only just about afford the Joker 45 )
  22. Been after these for a while but always spend me money meantimes - these are wants for next month so will send postdated cheque so budget spent before I get it, so I can't spend it when I do get it 'cos err - well it's worked for Gordon Brown anyway: Pm me if you have the following and would like to exchange for proper British Stirling while it still means something: Fabulous Denos - I've enjoyed being loved by you - King Oliver Norman - Drowning in my own despair - Decca preferably Millionaires - And the rains came - Specialty (the cheaper one ) Millionaires - Never for me - Philips or Mercury? Millionaires - Cherry Baby - Bunny Enchantments - I'm in love with your daughter - Joker All of these are for playing so no need for minters, in fact as long as they play good I'll be interested no matter their appearance if you've got a little, ahem, carried away with the stroking and caressing, Thanks for looking
  23. I'll add it to my wants list then Cheers for the info, got to have this
