    1980 I think Searling did play it first at Wigan (?) but it was massive at Clifton Hall and there were quite a few copies about at that point (£4 a pop at the time)

    I saw her probably about 5 years ago and thought she was great. She banged out "Everything is Gonna........." (a song I've personally never been mad for) but thought overall she was really good and entertaining. I'd go see her again.

    Of the few second hand vinyl shops that are "local" to me, none of the owners want to have anything to do with it, they say its not worth it for them and can't being doing with the hassle. I'm not sure why, but can only take their word for it.

    The first 5-10 minutes of this shows the inside entrance and bar/record bar (which was on the left hand side as you walked in) pretty well. It looks exactly like it did when the nighters were on. As for the rest of the long, long video it looks like they've put tables and chairs onto the dance floor making it smaller than the nighters, that had the tables and chairs pushed out to roughly under the balcony.

    As this thread seems to be morphing into a discussion on what is and isn't a fair price - which is a discussion probably more suited to AATB, I think this needs to be locked

    I did say it was more than I wanted to pay for this. I also said I wanted clean labels which your copy doesn't have. Does that make me wrong or have I hurt your feelings or something? Not sure why you'd post the above which was a private conversation between us in which I was perfectly amicable to you (quite happy to copy it out here).
