  1. Bit tricky this as the reissue cover looks identical. Many originals seems to be in good order as well. We had to ask around before buying ours as bit confusing. Apart from price they looks the same at least online. Don't think the reissue sleeve comes with album adverts as seen on this original album for example? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sam-Dees-The-Show-Must-Go-On-Orig-St-1975-Atlantic-Rare-Unplayed-M-/261243863236?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item3cd35900c4 Will double check matrix when home later. I knew there was some good tracks on this album beforehand but not that everyone is a winner. Amazing album

  5. Awaiting the Buddah release of this great JJ Barnes song I'll keep coming back. is it the same take as the earlier Revilot release or slightly different on Buddah? From soundclips I imagine it sounds bit clearer on Buddah but I could be wrong? Any help much appreciated thanks Olof

  13. Could be the case here maybe. Simular fate for other records for example Ascots Miss heartbreaker comes to mind. Other rarer and more expensive records made by the same group but still a cracking record that should be played out more. I think Aint that news is a grt tune that deserves to be aired. Can't help getting the superb Prof's there was a woman in my head when i hear this one. Think they are bit simular somehow but could be my head just

  19. Both Dublin and Belfast were packed houses as well. Reckon he will be back by popular demand next year again hopefully
  20. We just seen Charles Bradley at the Empire in Belfast yesterday. Fantastic concert and performance! His voice and stage performance is amazing and same goes for the tight backing band. best spent £16 ever! If you get the chance do not miss it. Seen a few soul acts over the years of mixed quality. Some of them had not performed for many years before starting singing again. Charles Bradley has and still is a hard working musician and still so bloody good. Both lp's have cracking tunes that sound even better live. Still on a high! Backing played an instrumental of Major IV Down in the ghetto which added to the coolness. Favourite track for me of the night "Why is it so hard" and Jo's "Lovin you baby" but all songs were amazing. Five
  21. Anna King's Mama's got a (hand)bag of her own on End future handbiggie ?
  22. Very Sad news indeed. Some fab records made by this man. RIP Cody. Not sure if it is ok to link to an ongoing auction before it ends here . There is a current one where proceeds are going towards his own funeral so hope this hint is ok as exception as for a good cause.
  23. Not a daft question at all IMO. Its a double edged sword with mp3's and soundfiles youtube etc. We all request them as easy way listen to new sounds etc, bring on holidays but would have loved for some of them to be left in original format personally. Can miss the time myself where punters had to travel to hear a specific sounds played on vinyl. It takes away bit of the mystique of a record no doubt about it. For the artists themself easy access must be purely positive though as more people get access to their work. Ive also gained loads of knowledge from Souclub, refosoul here, mp3s etc so can't moan to much myself Im afraid ,
  24. Other side nice as well Good luck with finding one!
  25. E Rodney Jones again in Peace of Mind
