As an alternative to the lip One Dance, get a copy of the Creations Oh Baby on Globe for about £20. * thanks for that. couldn´t get it first which one it was very alike . Creations track is the better of the two imo. love that horn intro .

* one of my favs.as well wish I had it myself. overlooked it a bit myself I must sadly say. For a big ballroom its the perfect sound saw the stateside one recently. Decibel records maybe ?? deleted the list maybe someone else can help ??

i personaly think this is a poor post as you have not read every post on here and there are a lot of us who dont just like northern soul, i feel insulted by your assumptions. if you bothered to check all the forums you would find a lot of us are open minded to the music we love, of course there are some who are a closed book to anything other than northern, but there are people like this in every walk of life. mark * people generally worry to much I think. there will both be place for good oldies events as well as more open minded clubs even if they might be smaller venues. plenty good years to come as well. on this site plenty of open minded people. maybe time to at least have another word as compliment to term northern soul. seems to plenty of people to only refer to the oldies scene or am I wrong about that

but looks dodgy to me apart from the matrix nunbers being different creative funk promos have promotional copy on the left and not for sale on the right,this one is all on the left. * same on mine so prob a copy of the same type. Theres a handwritten no 321 on both sides but prob doesn´t say anything or ? . Orig promos must probably be as ric-tic writes above w prom copy on the left and not for sale on the right and w silver colour. the paler one without silver must either be a boot (most probably) or made in a more budgetway after the other me thinks ??. Not sure at all though

I´m quite sure my prom copy withoput spoken intro is a boot though even if its not mentioned in JMs b-guide. . Its like they copied the label from an orig and the silver lettering is missing. Sound quality is not the best on mine either . been told the orig must have the silver lettering. I´m sure this has been disussused before but can´t find the link sadly . don´t think the spoken intro one has been booted . great track! would love to upgrade my copy to a real one

Was booted sadly without spoken intro. I bought a copy by mistake unaware it had been booted . orig should have silver colour. boot label is poorly made and sound quality isn´t the best either. don´t think it has been booted w spoken intro
