Try a PM to Mike Vague &/or Tommy on here, sure they both live in L.A.
  5. Total cack IMO. Just have it in the middle of a tape of very rare 60's stuff, so must have taped it becasue it was 'rare' at the time?
  6. PRETTY BOYS - bronner bros - neighbour 13420 refosoul
  7. The styrene boot. Notice that the music grooves only take up half the record, the other half is one large run out.
  8. 3470 refosoul
  9. 'Pretty Boys' on Neighbour. Soul Sam spin, not very good IMO. Clip later.

Mp3 sent. You can always get one of the re-issues as they're legit, I think, and probably play better than an original as they've not been hammered. I've got a spare one somewhere. How much is an original worth?

Van McCoy, when you look at the number of tunes he wrote and produced in his short life time, makes you wonder his ealry death has made us miss out on. Also, Geater Davis who was on in his late thirties when he died.
  15. For some reason I always thought it was Arthur Fenn too. John Manship has had one on his site for quite a while now at £150. Also had a list through quite recently with it on at £100.

Just out of interest Ady, what numbers of a run did you do for each ani single? Seem to remember reading the 100 has a capacity of around 300, so was it around that? whatever the numbers, have you any idea why some seem to be 'rarer' than others, maybe in the early day people put them under a chair and forgot to take them home, or maybe trashed them becasue they didn't think they be collectable?
  21. Bud Harper - Searching for a treasure that can't be found?
  22. Never gonna be the same - laura lee - acetate 13193 refosoul Sorry the clip is not very good, someone has dipped about with the sound in parts, but you can still get the idea. Sounds to me like someone recently siging over the backing track to 'the way you've been acting lately'
  23. It's an un-issued acetate track, i think it's supposed to be by Laura Lee
