defrag you HD
turn of your screen saver off
burn a copy at a low speed i.e. X4 and then use your sortware to copy it
Though I wouldn’t advice trying it, but if you wet the light blue verve demo labels, the colour leaches, hence a tip to NOT uses water to clean the record / label up!
Aren't we still waiting for Neil Clark's address? He not sending his address until he sends his discs out. Hopefully your not a house burgler Neil, but if you are, tidy mine up a bit before you leave!
I don't know of any other versions, but there is an unissed band track of it out there. One of my favourites, put on to many years ago by Ady Pountain. The bit I like most is that she comparing being with him to dreaming of holidays - makes me wonder how many in Detroit could afford a holiday fromthe Ford or GM production lines which Berry Gordy based his hitsville set up on?
It was lack of memory ofthe Rock City era that made me ask for a sound file!
I think I've found it on an old Soul Sam tape, but it's not the sort of sound that ages too well IMO. Did it ever turn up in quantity?

Maybe not then, but that's what Max Rees told me when he sold me the LP many years ago.
Joe Gardner  was the lead singer, the others are Milton Daniels, Tom Williams, Roy Daniels , and Rick Johnson.
Forget who was selling them from the US, one of the dealers who had all the Royal Esquires etc?
Dave Thorley's on here, don't know if he still has the original acetete?
