  1. John Manship used to play it at Cleethropes, but that wasn't until around 1978, I wonder which of the two labels it was?
  2. SATISFACTIONS - USE ME - SMASH
  3. SATISFACTIONS - KEEP ON TRYING - SMASH

  6. So what was it like then, played out? Or did you need a V.I.P. ticket to be able to listen to it Any chance of a sound clip now? Artist, title etc?
  7. Any chance of a sound file of the other side? (Wasn't particularly keen on the 'get up of it')
  8. It was, John. I remember going to an all dayer upstairs and they were playing jazz funk downstairs; being partial to a bit of JF at the time I stuck my head through door but could only see eyes, teeth, whistles and air horns, due to the dodgy UV lighting, going around & around. After about 30 seconds somemone told me to f*** off back upstairs where you belong w*****!
  9. Come on John, it was only around 29 years ago! Sam was playing in the summer of 78, I have a tape of the 50th dayer at Notts Palais with him spinning it
  10. I have a tape from Ian Clark dated 27/4/87 with Marching & The Long Trail, Â Scepter 12159 on it, so I guess he must have owned a copy at that time.

Paul Thank's for you name address and bank details, save me having to do some phising! Maybe edit your post ASAP?!
  12. The LP was re-issued on P-VINE in 1990. However the cover is a facsimile of the original Turbo release and so without being able to see the record label, or just seeing the cover at a distance will make it hard to spot an original. Nevertheless, if you do get to look at the back cover, the re-issues have 'Manufactured & distributed by Blues Interactions. Inc. Japan. under license from Sugar Hill Records. Â U.S.A. Â 1990' in small print at the very bottom.
