Jackie Shane-in My Tenement-sue-boot ?
Mine has 1091 scratched in on the IMT side & 1092 on the 'Comin' Down' side but it's stamped in, not scratched. It has a 'Bell Sound' stamp on both side's run out. Also the black and white stripes go right down to the edge of the label , there's no white edging and "MFG BY SUE RECORDS, INC. N.Y." under A 'Juggy' Production'

The Detroit Soul
Originals have 'Mastered by Frankfort & Wayne'Â stamped in the run out of the A side (only)

Otis Clay
Didn't you used to introduce it as 'the main man from Chicago'? Was it only big for three month because they all wore out after half a dozen plays? Except for brand new copies, all the ones I've had cut up badly. Also, came out on an LP, slightly longer too.

Cover-ups What Do You Think Of Them?
More like in the 70's they were covered up long enough to allow them to be pressed at the Monach pressing plant and imported to be sold here?

Cover Up
This track was posted on SS about 2.5 years ago by a USA based member (Florida?); I seem to remember it was something along the line of ' just found this (7") record does anyone know it'. It was a red labelled single. Mock up?

Is the other side's title something like ' party in the whitehouse'? If so, I've a white demo somewhere, that can go.

Chapter Five - You Can't Mean It
What is the picture on the picture sleeve? Perhaps someone has just been a bit artistically creative with a copy of a 'Sevens' press of the tracks? There were also some blank label presses of those two together in recent years - 'Sevens' test presses?. I can't see it being anything other than a recent-ish 're-press' aimed at the northern scene. YCMI was the B side to the 'plug' side 'Anything That You Do' in 1966. OIAM was the A side to 'Hey Hey' in 1967. If it was a legit re-release, surely they would some for the UK, as it would potentialy the bigest market for it? Anyone seen a CBS issue of OIAM?

Edward Hamilton On Orang Carrie
Clifford  Binns first press is orange. Second (legit) press is green. Boot is also green, but does not have '208' in the run-out. (Do'nt know what the 208 relates to, the record number is C014)

columbia ind. santa monica calif. usa Tenous link time! Maybe it's the test press of the 12" for Salsoul records? The Salsoul releases were distibuted through CBS? CBS owned Columbia Columbia has a pressing plant in Terre Haute, Indiana. They also had another plant in Santa Maria, California and another West Coast factory in Hollywood California. Maybe their West coast office was in santa monica calif. usa

Ian Clark-top Man Or What
Sounds very odd, I've bought off Ian for well over 20 years and never know him to deal in boots of any kind, so if he did sell it to you, he must have been covinced it was an original surely?

The Showmen - Our Love Will Grow/you're Everything
Wasn't ITZY a sort of 're-issue' label that put out popular tracks to meet the Pittsburgh demand in the 60's? There's other Swan tracks on the label.

Any Help Appreciated With A Coupla Track Ids
I'm not sure, but I read somewhere that FK&Cs was the first release. Later the group changed name and released it again, but as 7AAs.
