I remember it being played at Stafford, by the 60's Mafia (Guy, Keb etc); it was booted along with H.B Barnum - It Hurts Too Much, on the other side of the Peanut Duck, on the Joker label. Peanut Duck was 'written' by Gilly, Jilly and the the publisher was 'Butch Music'

Otis Leavil, Curtis Mayfield and Major Lance were friends and I think they grew up together in Chicago. On songs that Mayfield wrote and Lance recorded, the Impressions did the background singing; so perhaps they did the same for Leavil's recording too, at 'friends' rates?

I've been selling some stuff lately and a few items I promised that if I ever sold , I'd give certain individuals 'first refusal' for what I paid them for it Obviously, prices have gone up over the last few years and I was wondering if I should feel obliged to sell; 1) To the original seller 2) At the original price? Anyone else been in this predicament?
