  5. Yes. I'll try to find a scan of the record and post up.
  6. Did you intend to release more tracks? I remember Guy playing some other Detroit sounding instrumental such as 'The Michigan Move', but they might have been played of his own acetates, original studio copies of EMI's off studio tapes, I don't know.
  7. A few years ago there were a load of white label copies on ebay that played at 33rmp, but I seem to think they where 10" pressings.
  8. Orpheus on MGM Rose Colored Glasses on Bang
  9. In the main 'site search' window, type in some key words from the artist's name or title, when the next screen comes up go into 'Choose Features' and select 'Refosoul Search'
  10. I'm sure it's Bobby Williams - Tell it to my face - Lupine, it came out on a CD comp called Remembering Roots of Soul, Vol. 2: Birth of Motor Town Google it and I'm sure you'll find a clip of it to confirm. There is a song called 'tell it to my face' by Keith, but it's not that track 'I gotta hear it from you' was played at Stafford, it's the Jackson Brothers on Providence, can't remember what Keb had it covered as
  11. I've got a tape I recorded at Stafford somewhere, I'll try to find it and post up. The best part of the record (and Little John) is the label
  12. Bobby Williams - Tell it to my face - Lupine
  13. It's 1978. Both are from the same dayer (tape), I'll try to put up the other hour soon

  16. I think it's which ever one is the rarest of the two formats it's on
  17. Yes. Previous thread on it here: /Contact...pay#entry533490
  18. The copy I'm sure Carl has is a WD signed by Eddie Holman. I heard EH sing it at Stafford in the 80's and did wonder if he was in fact LC, but I've been told it's (the late?) LC. Anyone know anything more about LC?
  19. Larry Clinton issue? Who has one now, Dave M,? How many of them are there?
  20. Andy Rix has a complete set, though I think the Counts is in bits. I think he's 'retired' and has sold some big label stuff from his collection, so it might be worth giving him a try. It would interesting to know what values these records are thought to be worth.
  21. It might be my imagination, but there seems to be an upsurge in the volume of records up for sale in the last 3 month. Plus a couple of heavy weight collectors starting to sell some of their stuff off. Anyone get a gage of what was for sale at Cleethorpes? Were there any 'holy grails' on offer there?
  22. I take it Steve, that your copy is the 'original' with the address scratched out? If so, who has the recently dicovered one?
  23. does the 2nd copy have a label that's not had the address scratched out?
  24. IS the BGL or A's 1006 on their original labels, or was that number just picked out of thin air? I've never seen anything else on this label.Wasn't it done in the mid 70's?
  25. I don't know if it's just my copy, but the sound quality very poor, are they all like that?
