  1. Equally annoying are some 'wants' requests Wanted "xxxxxx" PM me with an offer for "xxxxxx" PM: How much do you want for it?
  2. The was also a Magnetics at Motown in the early 60's, but they were a girl group.
  3. Geni - Teri Bryant
  4. Can't comment on this as I've never DJ'ed.
  5. I thought I'd put it up anyway, quite nice IMO.
  6. So they're are saying that if you like beer you have to go to the pub and can't have a few at home?
  7. Lost Soul, a good question Mark . I'll let you into 'a little secret of mine', I don't think 'I'm gonna hurt you' by telling you it, but looking at the bigger picture 'it won't work out baby'! Stay in like me, get your 'soul anorak' on to save on the fuel bills and enjoy your music!
  8. It's always been quite obscure, but not as rare as her 'Fine Fine Fine' on Vault. Probably would go for a decent 3 figure sum, though it's hard to gauge what the demand would be today
  9. Do you need the other side too?
  10. Ted Cash A: Jes Sum-un To Say B: Same Etus 11516 £100 on a well known dealer's site, but no sound clip. He's a member so maybe he could post a sound clip up?
  11. George Smith I think would be '68 at the earliest. Bennie Benjamin set up his own music publishing company in 1968 and renewed his copyright of songs written earlier.
  12. No don't tell me, I can picture her now, in her youth; big Helga of a girl, blackheads, grimacing face - Natalie Imbruglia?
  13. Is it the Humphrey Littleton Band, without Humphrey?
  14. It's either Judy Street's grand dad or Paul Anka's brother Wayne
  15. This one has a purple label
  16. Lenny Gamble?
  17. I haven't seen it for well over 20 years now, but I do remember it was on styrene and the plain white label was very glossy. It must have been a RCA copy as I remember it was about half a minutes shorter than the UK copy I got.
  18. Perhaps the problem with recent release stuff is that you would be limited as to how much of the track you could post up without getting into copyright, file sharing issues, etc? Coupled with the fact that a lot of tracks and their remixes seem to be 10 minutes long with a five minute intro, a thread of soulful house tracks would all be the same 30-60 seconds of identical drum beats!

  20. I bought Adam's copy off him, I think he got it from Pat Brady. It was a test press with plain white labels and 'Gypsy' written on it in blue biro. I let it go when I picked up a UK demo copy which is a little bit longer than the US press; I've never seen a UK issue though.
  21. "Ain't That Sharp". Played by Poke as the Notables - Midnight Serenade
  22. Legit UK re-release as far as I know. I don't think the 12"'s ever got further than the white label, but the 7"'s did have a proper label, black with red flames
