    This is one of those that has been promoted ambiguously. I expected it to be about 2-tone music, early 80’s youth culture etc. There is very little music of the time, it’s actually more to do with dysfunctional people / society who happened to be involved with the IRA activities in Coventry at that time. Not a bad story once it gets going, just don’t expect The Specials etc, to make a cameo appearance.

    I've just watched 'This England' again and was wondering if anyone knows what were the actual tracks they were dancing to or were they overdubbed at a later time. Was it staged, contrived and multi-takes? Some people might have attended because it was being filmed, but did others stay away because if it? And was the filming 'the beginning of the end' for want of a better expression

    My money is still on 'play this part no more', but that's maybe because that's what i want it to be. I've just run it through some 'forensic software' and it and sometimes the more you faff about the more confusing it gets I think I'll stick to the lyrics to instrumentals!

    Not a bad lot. Once went to The Chapel in Canton,, drank several pints of Brain's Skull Attack, put me in a taxi to Ely, never been the same since!!!!
