  1. If it's this, I seem to remember it being a one-sided S.O.S studio acetate. Although it's around 20 years since I saw it, I'm sure it was a plain orange label with James Bynum written on it, so it could be him, or anybody for that matter.

Acouple of modern things wanted: Halo - Let me do it - Marshall Micheal Smith - A love the's heavenly inspired - Pharoah Anticipating no one will have them for sale, any chance of a full good quailty mp3? Got them on tape as the half tracks (last on the tapes!) which is really peeing me off - why do people do that?!
  5. Just converting old tapes to CD and have come across a track by Carlena Williams called "Soulful drop in the bucket (?)" At the time (1987) I was told it was unreleased, does anybody know if it ever came out or got booted / released on CD? thanks

  18. ----------- and the USA promo only 12" which we all wanted but couldn't get a copy: Always There - Willie Bobo (Columbia) different to the seven inch and album mix and never , to this day, released on commercial 12". Neil I've got a UK CBS 6 track promo 12" with the Willie Bobo on. It's a plain white label in a plain white card cover with the track listing (photocopy)pasted on. The other tracks are "extended" mixes too, but I can't remeber what they are - 'club clasics' like Dexter Wansell, Webster Lewis etc

'Luther' as a group had two album releases on Cotillion "Luther" in 1978 & "This close to you" in 1977 with 'Don't wanna be a fool' on it 'Don't wanna be a fool' only came out on the 7" ISSUES of 'This Close to you' When Luther V got a few bob from his Epic releases, he bought the rights to the Cotillion recordings because he didn't want them re-released as he thought they were not up to standard
