  7. yes, it was 'doctored' by some rotound, wrinkley, little f**ker with no hair who gestation took 38 years, 9 months and 2 weeks to the day exactly! The acetate originally, I believe, was discovered with an other Abtone studio disc of 'Tea House In China Town' by Tommy Knight. Since the vocal sounded almost the same, it was also attributed to Tommy Knight too.
  8. That's because it's really Tommy Knight

Ovenchip has / had one at £70. I would have thought nearer to £50, worht it for the picture of the lass on the cover! What makes it a demo?
  10. Soul Bowl had quite few copies (they were in the set section of the list for quite a while & £8) which were all in perfect contidion. It's only demand that puts it at £350 becasue it is not that rare. Flip it over for a nice soulsound. Funny how it always played second fiddle to Charles Mintz until it got reissued!

Perhaps the amount of potential decrease depend on the intrinsic value of the records? Do you think it would have the same effect (% loss) on 'A Family' or 'Warning', as opposed to 'That's The Same Thing' or 'No One To Love'

I was think about trying to get a coupled of records autographed tommorow night. I just wondered if anybody has done it and regreted it? Anybody could scrawl on the label and claim it's authentic. Do you think it effects the value? Maybe I'll just ask them to sign the no 'northern' side? (Maybe they'll have a fit of peak in seeing a record that never made them a dime and is worth money now and snap it! )
