  1. Shrine records were called Shrine by Eddie Singleton as a tribute to President Kennedy and the emblem is the Eternal Flame on Kennedy’s shrine. Shrine’s publishing company was Ramitary and was formed by Eddie and his wife Raynoma; Eddie was born Eddie Singletary Raynoma or ‘Miss Ray’ learnt her record producing skills at Motown being Berry Gordy’s second wife. Berry Gordy wanted to have a record label called Tammy named after a favourite film (star) of his, but as the name was copyrighted he plumped for Tamla instead Pictures: Eddie Singletary Berry & Raynoma Gordy Very common Shrine release
