  1. Here you go Ted, sorry it's a bit vibrato, but you get the idea
  2. Not my cup of tea, but here you go........
  3. What about these salmon pink issues? Legit re-issue?
  4. Hi Ted Look on the bright side, you got an original to measure, and two, you've managed to adapt to this new fangle metric measuring system!
  5. Item number 4831404737 https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI..._Pr4_PcY_BID_IT
  6. On the true originals, the slant part of the 'dip down' is almost twice the size of the remaining plateau; on the reissues they are about equal, if that makes sense?
  7. Nice one Chalky, but I think we've already been beaten to it! https://www.nhm.ac.uk/research-curation/dep.../palaeontology/
  8. "You Should Have Told Me"
  9. Was that the same situation with Luther (Vandross) and his group's first two LPs for Cotillion ? I read somewhere that when LV got a more famous and richer from his Epic recordings, he bought the rights to the Cottilion stuff because he specifically didn't want it to ever be re-released, thus stopping the chances of Atlantic doing that on the back of his big star status.
  10. How spooky is this, I was cleaning some duplicates tonight to sell, and accidently snapped a mint copy of Darrow Fletcher - The Pain, must have been a necessary sacrifice for the show tonight?! I've had that version of Little Ann on tape for a few years now, exactly how many 'takes' of the track exist?
  11. The lookalike boot does, so I assume the original issue does too?
  12. No me. Is this it?
  13. I'm pretty sure the issue was booted - my boot does not have either a matrix stamp (it usually looks like a big S with a reversed R and C in the curves of the S) nor the often seen AT in the run out of record associated with Atlantic. Also, the black parts on the label is more of a very deep brown
  14. On my original orange issue the number is 213-389-9938 not 213-384-9334 as on that scan. If it is a boot, the hands logo might have been too complicated to reproduce and they failed to notice the label is actually TRANS.AMERICANS, not TRANS RECORDS!
  15. Is there a significant difference in their values? Which are?
  16. Like 'I can feel you love' and 'I feel love coming on' ruined by her vocal - too high pitch and nasal, just like Diana Ross!
  17. i dont imagine many were permanent fixtures of groups for example? Rico Rodriguez was in the Specials for quite a while!
  18. That's how the Embers starts. 2. Carl Carlton did a song 'why don't they leave us alone'
  19. 4. I think is Herman Hitson's unreleased version. Can't hear 2 & 3, but guessing 3 might be First Time by the Embers on JCP?
