I have the Live Tape of The Right Track Soul Club 1st Anniversary tape at Glenrothes YMCA , Scotland , which was Keb's spot throughout , recorded at the decks , , he is obviously very pleased with this recent discovery as he plays it FIVE times in his spot and swears throughout !!!! If anybody knows a quick way of getting this onto refosoul , it's a winner ,

Very confused on this one people !!! Copy on ebay from Voxpox , Manchester , at £200.00 buy it now Yet a few punters on Popsike have picked up copies on evilbay for less than a £100.00 this year , so either they're very lucky grabbing a bargain or nobody is interested in it , as the prices are all over the place !! So what is a realistic price ? And that end of this War and Peace I will probably put an ad in wants and get 40 replies !!!!

As an avid album collector , I am usually found on here trying to find out the current going rates for albums either in my collection , or tracks / albums that I have'nt played for ages or albums that I'm still after , However , I can guarantee on every occasion that a uk collector /dj will price it at , for example £200 . An american associate will give me a figure of $200 , yet I then pick the bloody thing up on ebay at $ 100 !!!!! I am well aware of the recession, Manships guides and the ever changing world of ebay , But , I very rarely buy top wants from uk collectors as they are , in my opinion , overpriced , Manships auctions being an example , Don't get me wrong , great guy / knowledge and I've shifted loads of unwants through him over the years to bolster my collection , So why are the prices so vast in their estimates , are we back to the 70's / 80's of localised biggies , £200 in Edinburgh - £100 in Manchester - and £50 in London ?

Last copy I saw for sale , January , this year , was being offered by Out On The Floor Records in Camden , think it went for about £100.00, plenty of writing on label , hence price , but a great record and a bargain at any price.

Was at a very good, but wet !! bbq ,today and my mate played the usual modern soul cd's to get the crowd going , One of which was the Sunday Soul Selection by Soul Brother , a cracking album , BUT the Grace Jones track came on and I was gobsmacked , not usually a first for me ! I have never heard this track played at a soul night , after 25 yrs , ever !!!!,one of my ex girlfriends had the album when it first came out , that's why I remembered it , and nearly choked on my burger when it played !!! So please put me out of my misery , does this 6.44 mins of torture get played ? And apologies to those who like it , got a spare copy of " View To A Kill " for sale !
