    Definetly ! I was too young for the casino - came on the scene 83 - first nighter in 84 - but was buying live tapes from Richard Domar at the time and had Gary Rushbrooke spinning it at a March nighter in 1980 - always liked the record and Gary’s taste in the blue eyed soul avenue

    Funnily enough ! My mate is currently on holiday in Crete - in a hill top mountain retreat in the middle of nowhere with the wife ( keen walkers ) and this is on the hotel podcast !

    Can anybody recommend a professional record cleaning service ? I have a record arriving from the states but it’s gonna need a good deep clean ! And my technical know how of a cloth and spray won’t cut it this time ! Thanks

    You never hear it nowadays - played out - played in - or on Mixcloud ! Seldom seen for sale and far to quick to dance to for people of a certain age ! A truly forgotten dance floor smash ! As Keb Darge use to say - one to separate the men from the boys !

    Always loved there version from 68 of this track - but always wondered why the Billy Byers version was called New Neighbourhood and it was then changed to Strange for the Fraternity release ?

    I think for many of us out there - that school disco / youth club moment of hearing the opening bars to “ There’s a Ghost in my House “ and seeing the older boys and girls hit the dance floor and your thinking “ WTF “ is all this about ! So thank you Mr Taylor and sleep well from a generation who kept your music and memory firmly alive
