  7. That's as maybe but still don't think 2 at the same time is a good idea. There is bound to be degraded attendance, as some people would go to both if they were on separate days. Kegsy
  8. Wait til Mrs B finds out about this, you're a dead rabbit mate. Kegsy
  9. Next Sunday July 21st there are two all-dayers in Bradford within about 2 miles of each other. Are the organisers going loopy ?, Cant they speak to each other ? What's the point, all that can happen is lower attendance at both venues. Crazy IMHO. Kegsy

  12. Yep I used to go down there almost every day, I worked about 10 mins. away. Contrary to a previous post there were loads of Ric-Tic stuff although mostly the earlier red label stuff, only a few titles on the blue swirl design. Don't remember many if any of the rarer Ric-Tic's however. There was also loads of Okeh stuff in addition to the Verve/MGM stuff. I got to back of the stall every time I went, well after the first few times, also got into the warehouse a few times. Some of my "pack" finds included multi copies of Big Daddy Rogers, Patience Valentine If You Don't Come and a few others that sell for tidy sums these days. Unfortunately they were not big records then and they languished in my garage for years. Like Julian and others I also made a few Bob at The Torch Etc, although I was always skint again by Monday totally wired, but still skint !. Kegsy

  15. I think Trip was a legal "oldies" type re-issue label in the U.S.A. so I would say that's not really a bootleg. Kegsy
  16. I always thought Soul Sounds were the first bootlegs done. If so the first one would be Baby Reconsider
