  1. Don't know, but what copies there were came through Soul Bowl, as far as I can remember. I don't think anybody at the time thought this would stay rare for very long given the label etc., but it certainly did.
  2. I can see this thread is seriously going to piss off those of us that had this back in the day and sold it for next to f*ck all, compared to today's prices.
  3. Sent you a PM with the guy's phone number.
  4. Please operator, return my dime back, there appears to be an intermittent tw*t on the line.
  5. He is ringing some guy tonight, will let you know in the morning what the score is.
  6. What who said ???
  7. PM'd You
  8. Ok mate, i know a guy who knows about these things, he used to rent them to pubs etc. Saw him last night apparently its all about finding parts, I'll ask him about that model when I see him tonight.
  9. What make of jukebox is it
  10. Gold Eagle Promo copy. M- condition Great Early Soul/ Doo Wop recording. £35 inc. UK postage. Postage anywhere else just ask.
  11. PM sent.
  12. Doris Duke I'm A Loser Album
  13. There's been a bit of a buzz on Joe Tex I Wanna Be Free for quite a while now, why does this not get much attention, Old Time Lover https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjYmqq9283OAhWBLcAKHe0cDnwQ3ywIHjAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dgy1su9g3Wag&usg=AFQjCNGbi2jvWDx6fIMElo6H8HkDD-FzoQ&bvm=bv.129759880,d.d24
  14. I used to file them in label order, but as I got older I kept forgetting what was on which label, so I re-filed them in artist order and now, even older, I can't remember who sings the bloody songs. God only knows how Julian Bentley, Roburt and some of the real older end go on. Kegsy (A victim of old age and poverty)
  15. Since it's now been made perfectly clear, to the thread starter, that Joe is a top bloke and record dealer. I would suggest the moderators close and delete this thread as it should never have been started, before giving Joe the chance to address any issues.
  16. Well, I reckon that puts the "Lights Out" on this particular debate.
  17. Just sold this a few weeks ago for £25 quid, the guy who bought it was like a dog with two dicks about getting a copy. Kinnel I've sold dozens over the years.
  18. Kinnel all of a sudden this tread is about l'il old me, believe me I never sang with the Dynamics, although Ain't No Sun on Cotillion was one of the first tunes I ever bought as a raw youth.
  19. Just to muddy the waters a bit, Discogs has someone called Thomas "Skip" Winburn as a member of the group. Edit. On further investigation It looks like Winburn replaced Samuel Stevenson somewhere between First Landing LP for Cotillion and What A Shame LP for Black Gold.
  20. Ah yes, Whitchurch all dayers, Sam used to DJ that's about all I can remember as they usually followed a Friday and Saturday Nighter, that and trying to remember how the f*ck to get back to the M6 (usually ended up near Wales) happy daze. As for fish & chips, do me a favour !!!!!!!!!!!.
  21. You say that about everybody who has ever just even thought about selling a few tunes
  22. I don't suppose you could be a bit more Frank, could you Ian ?.
  23. That's really what I was trying to say, the majority of sounds were being broken elsewhere and Sam's just kept pace. I'm not knocking the place, I had some great nights there.
  24. To be honest I don't think there was much difference between Sam's playlists and those from the late Torch/Early Wigan days. As opposed to Va Va's, Mecca and Cleethorpes Pier from around the same time, that really did change the vibe.
  25. The other "Brit. sanction", if you found multi copies, as I did once with Kiss My Love Goodbye and I'm So Happy Phillip Mitchell, was to only let you have one copy of each. The others were then squirreled behind the counter for subsequent "re-pricing" no doubt.
