    I want to say a massive thank you to our lovely enthusiastic and up for it crowd... happy faces everywhere and a rammed dance floor... I still can’t believe it... what an atmosphere Special shouts to all the DJs for the hard work and inspired sets... it was lovely for me personally to see our regulars shine... Big shout out to Dave Rimmer and Arthur Fenn who rocked the joint! Huge thanks to Tat for running a tight ship on the door, creating a great ‘merch’ stall and being our rock! The staff at the Fiddlers Elbow couldn'tt have done more for us and really smoothed the way for a memorable magical night. We had an absolutely fabulous time and it was great to see all the old and new Valatoners So from Tat, Phil, Buey, Cristina and myself thank you for making this so special, we're totally overwhelmed! Love from The Valatone Team, see you next time xxx

    Hi all My Friend Kelly's mum has just contacted me looking for someone to put on a Northern Soul night at her pub in Farnworth near Bolton. It's a newly renovated pub called the Kings arms hotel. Whoever takes it on would need to bring their own equipment (decks and Sound system).     I thought it was very poor gesture...... Motown deserved better was just one of the reviews I read this morning, and I must say I agreed. Martin Freeman, nice guy though he is, did his best bless him.... I thought he was useless at interviewing, he seemed to have his crib-sheet memorised and was waiting for his turn to talk rather than listening and reacting to the answers given. On the other hand I have always loved TEARS OF A CLOWN so I enjoyed that micro-moment... Final impression... piss poor All in all I think if your not gonna give it 200% effort (in everything: research, presentation, content, final editing etc.) then you should be have the common decency to leave it alone. Don't bother next time Mr. BBC "Martin what have you learned from this?".........."Eeeerm, I like this music"... F_cking brilliant, Well done! See ya later. That's just my humble opinion for what it's worth
