Nick Soule's post in Don Davis - The Groove was marked as the answer
"The Groove" by Don Davis & The Groovers on Northern is a different recording/session than the version on Thelma, much more lo-fi and raw, but it is the same song. The B-sides on both 45s "Let's Do It" and "Leap Frog" are entirely different songs. I have a recording that I made of "Let's Do It" that I can send you - it's the better side anyway.

Nick Soule's post in Early Tamla, Motown & Gordy 'DR' handwriting on label was marked as the answer
“Don’t Return”
They would give leftover stock of older Motown records away at Motortown Revue shows, and would mark them so that they couldn’t be returned to distributors/Motown.

Nick Soule's post in James Hendrix was marked as the answer
The Fred Bridges article on soulfuldetroit does say that Lou Beatty partnered with James Hendrix to start La Beat, but that James was a “low key figure” at La Beat. I would assume he was around for at least a little bit to receive that description from Fred. I’m not sure when James moved back to Nashville.

Nick Soule's post in Rufus Lumley Minneapolis Minnesota was marked as the answer
One of the sellers says it's a Detroit record. Is there any truth to that or is that just where it was pressed/found?
There is also this version which credits Jaber Music on the flip side: https://www.ebay.com/itm/RAY-RICHARDS-minneaplis-minnesota-everywhere-i-go-7-Northern-Soul-R-B-Rocker-/310561056771?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item484ee1a803&nma=true&si=IpJ1IS7FOjcQ%252Fb2%252BO6ZcLazkVus%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
I believe the Ray Richards and Rufus Lumley are the same song/recording?
