  1. There's another Herman George record on Bet records out of Indiana. There's a orange label and a multi-colored one. Are you thinking of that one?
  2. It seems strange that at least the New Holidays record wasn't given a demo. It was a local hit, and it's around just as much as Eric & The Vikings 'Vibrations' in Detroit, which has a demo along with two local label variations before it was picked up/distributed by Atlantic. On the other hand, I still need a stock copy of the Third Party...
  3. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a promotional copy or especially a white demo of either: Soulhawk 1007 — The Mighty Lovers — Ain’t Gonna Run No More / (She Keeps) Driving Me Out Of My Mind or Soulhawk 1008 — The New Holidays — Maybe So Maybe No / If I Only Knew Thanks, Nick
  4. Auctions ending in 7 days. https://www.ebay.com/sch/blackgoldrecs/m.html?item=141213563159&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562 Thanks, Nick Soule
  5. According to discogs, it was reissued by Soul Fire. https://www.discogs.com/Soul-President-Get-It-Right-Got-To-Have-It/release/2174869
  6. Flash McKinley seems high? I got somewhere around $1,500 for mine two years ago... granted it wasn't as clean.
  7. Ending tomorrow. Thanks for looking
  8. Depends if you have PC or Mac. Both usually have simple video editing software that will let you create a video and upload it to Youtube through the software. Before my account closed I used Mac's iMovie.
  9. Frank Wilson is from California.
  10. 157 45s listed on eBay with sound clips: https://www.ebay.com/sch/blackgoldrecs/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= Thanks, Nick Soule
  11. Still looking for this one. Anyone have a copy they'd consider selling?
  12. The Windy City Soul Club 5 Year Anniversary at The Empty Bottle (Chicago, IL) poster by Ryan Duggan.
  13. Looking for a copy of: Belita Woods - Magic Corner (Moira, demo) Thanks, Nick
  14. All ending today in a few hours.
  15. The Hy-Tones on Southern Artists plus 189 other 45s up for auction on eBay all with soundclips. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Northern-Soul-45-HY-TONES-You-Dont-Even-Know-My-Name-SOUTHERN-ARTISTS-hear-/141151650540 Thanks, Nick Soule
  16. Awake Records from Detroit has two records (Eddie Parker and Shane Hunter).
  17. Curious about this 45 as to whether it's the same group as the record on Hot Line, and where the label 'Raptown' is from. It's not very good, but it seems somewhat obscure? The flip is an instrumental by Al Bryant.
  18. They're two different takes. I prefer the Eastern version, but I assume the Soul Pot version came out first. I've also heard that there's a third release?
  19. Price includes shipping to anywhere in the world. Payment via PayPal only. Please PM or e-mail nicksoule@live.com if interested. For sale: Vee Gees - Talkin' (Jump Off) VG++ $400 Thanks, Nick Soule
  20. Thanks! I didn't think they were from Detroit despite numerous eBay listings saying it was. Sort of strange how often the record does turn up here in varying conditions, but I suppose people move.
  21. Soff Sump. By the way, anyone know where this record is from? Seems like it turns up in Michigan a lot.
  22. Looking for a copy of: The Falcons - Good Good Feeling (Big Wheel 1972) Would pay $300 for a VG+/VG++ copy or possibly some trades or trades + cash. Any playable condition will do. Please PM or e-mail nicksoule@live.com Thanks, Nick Soule
  23. That's probably my copy. Also in the standard VG- condition. For what it's worth, I've never seen another one.
  24. I'm looking for a playable copy of: Magic City 015: Mad Dog & The Pups — Please Don’t Let Me Go / Look Into My Eyes Please PM or e-mail nicksoule@live.com if you can help. Thanks, Nick Soule
