I've got a Willie Darrington, pretty sure it's 2nd issue though, what's the difference?? Tony
  4. Ricky Warburton from Salford. Why? Known him nearly all my life. both got into Soul at the youth Clubs. both went to the Pendulum together( He went to The Torch, my dad wouldn't let me play out all night) Blue Rooms, Carlton, Mecca, then onto Wigan, then marriage( not together ) lost touch for about 12 years, found out roughly where he lived, went for a wander to see if I could suss it out, there he was sat in his front garden, first words to me after all that time???? "Hiya Tone. Wanna Brew?" Also has a very nice collection Tony
  5. Just a thought, is it not more a case of re evaluating stuff that seems to have found it's day?? For example- Al Downing -I'm Just Nobody, which I bought for next to nowt last year, played by Mr Searling on't radio as one of the most sought after at the moment.(It is OK though) Tony
  6. Most people semm to agree that the bigger "names" deserve a higher fee. But, what difference does having the "big names" make to the turnout??? If you're getting a regular 100 or so in, would having one of these bring in another 50 or more? Whaddya reckon?? Tony
  7. T'other side-First Dance Fear- is actually better-not great, but better. It's OK for a Fiver or so. Tony
  8. It's on Sussex, should be around £20 or so- well worth getting and playing out ATB Tony
  9. Maybe so,but then your stuck with what to do with all these ex smokers living longer, where's the money gonna come from to keep us in our dotage?? Government should give all us "lepers" gold clocks-we pay tax on everything, all our NI contributions and then when it's time for us to collect-----we're DEAD! What about all the money the NHS spends on alcohol related ilnesses etc. I don't know anybody who smoked all night then went and attacked a nurse. When was the last time somebody who'd been smoking all night, got behind the wheel of a car and wiped someones family out?????? All things in moderation, it aint beyond the wit of man to have designated areas with proper climate controls for us to enjoy the odd Stick of Death. Tony
  10. Also done by Ecstasy,Passion & Pain on UK PYE, Along with another couple that are similar, titles escape me at the mo' ATB Tony

  13. Just thought I'd ask. As this is still predominately a Dancing scene, if the tune you've just slapped on dies a death would/should you cut it and put something else on instead???? It's something I used to do a long time ago, and I have done it a coupla times since, but......what do reckon????? Tony

  22. Why do we have to worry about who walks through the door as a newie. Either this music grabs you by the nuts and turns your life around or it does'nt.There aint no middle ground! Those that get it will stay, those that don't will feck off to the next big thing. BUT first, they gotta hear it. Tony
